The Harpers Ferry Civil War Round Table meets on the second Wednesday of every month from September through June. All are welcome to attend any meeting, whether or not they are dues-paying members. Regularly attendees are expected to become dues-paying members.
Meetings are held at the Camp Hill - Wesley United Methodist Church at 601 East Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The church is at the corner of Washington and Gilmore Streets, about one and half blocks east of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy Headquarters.
A family-style meal is served at the church prior to the program by the ladies of the Camp Hill - Wesley UMC. The menu rotates monthly and the cost of the meal is $15 per person, payable at the door. Reservations for the meal must be made no later than the Sunday prior to a meeting. They can be made at HFCWRT@gmail.com or 301-639-8855. All are welcome to attend the dinner, whether members or not.
The meeting program begins at 8:00 following dinner. There is no cost to simply attend the meeting. Business may begin slightly before 8:00 in order to give guest speakers ample time and to leave the church by 9:00. Meetings include monthly announcements, a book raffle, and lecture delivered by an invited guest speaker. June meetings are generally music or some other form of entertainment.
